The mobile and interactive project CAFE MELANGE, a
containerinstallation, was realized in 2008 within the ‘European Year of Intercultural Dialog".
Comprised with a media center (audio center, video store and
library) a program concerning the topic cultural mix was presented to the public.

After 12 years of Cinema under the Stars, this year the
cinema will be naked - splitted in screenplay and film location, soundtrack and
performance, cinematic culinary delights and cinema history. na*ked cinema stands for cinema without a screen
and grandstand - cinema to experience, to perceive, to eat, to feel and to gaze
at. The various
events and activities offer a multifaceted and varied programme.
By the time all cinema halls turn to supermarkets, the Kino ohne Ort
recaptures space, because cinema can be everywhere - especially at nights. And
because this year nothing is precasted, the audience makes its own film. The
audience is reading, listening and watching itself in doing so. Artists have
been invited to deal with cinema - PRINZGAU/podgorschek build up the
Caravanserai at the Schüsselwiese, Oliver Hangl presents Kino im Kopf going by
tram and Lampalzer/Oppermann make a plan and send us on a circuit. And finally
we take a historic walk with na*ked SYNEMA. Be curious about 10 days full of
cinema!

The Institute of Documentary Film IDF Prague organises in cooperation with After Image Productions the first of three ExOriente film workshops 2008, taking place in Vienna.
The workshop addresses to young documentary film directors and producers from central Europe and Austria.
